SV Brown Racing has outstanding facilities at both Flemington racecourse and at a 400 acre rural property in Nagambie Victoria. This structure allows Stephen great flexibility in preparing his horses, and the team’s results are speaking to its success.

The Flemington stable has 30 large boxes, yards, sand rolls, walker and access to the pool. In addition, the array of training tracks at Flemington are the equal of any in the country. Recent city winners in Melbourne such as Eight Bills, Kievann and The Thief have all benefited being based at the Flemington stable.

In his first season at Flemington in 2013, Stephen won a race over Flemington’s magnificent 4 day spring carnival week with a tried galloper purchased from New Zealand in Post D’France.

Nagambie, which was only purchased in mid 2015, is being set up as a high quality agistment and pre-training centre. Beautiful pastures and a perfect climate make for happy horses. 10 minutes from Seymour race track for fast gallops, and just an hour from Melbourne, nothing has been left to chance.

Despite having given up his stable at Darwin after many years of success up North to concentrate on Victoria, Stephen still plans on setting the right horses for the lucrative Darwin carnival each winter.
