Krusty motors down Sandown rivals

Krusty flies the flag high for Legend NT trainer bringing his Darwin Guineas form to Melbourne winning at Sandown Lakesides today.

With recent near misses running in 2nd position both at Tatura and his narrowest of defeats at Flemington, Krusty motors to victory to easily beat this handy field.

You may remember the dream when this horse won the Darwin Guineas as a 3yo with high expectations of a Flemington assault for this horse. Going by today's effort ridden confidently by Mitch Aitken, his win up the long Flemington straight will not be too far away.

Krusty now has notched together 3 wins to his credentials with wins at Warwick Farm (Sydney), Fannie Bay (Darwin) and now Sandown (Melbourne).

Krusty is another proven result of the success that Stephen Brown stable and his team have with tried race horses and the "have horse will travel" for the right races and missions.

Whilst Flemington is still high in the immediate future for Krusty, this horse has the potential to be a good country cups horse.

Perhaps Krusty's long time goal may be to travel the remainder of the country and to record at least one win in Tasmania, Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia. So we could be in a town near you soon.

Unsure if any horse has ever recorded a win in every state of Australia, but this horse given the right race conditions could win anywhere. Might be one to check the record books, it would be a good effort to achieve this with any galloper.

If you wish to follow our travels with Krusty, remember to black book this horse.
