One share remaining in exciting UK import
Stephen Brown’s recent UK purchase Yenhaab, a lightly raced exciting middle distance and staying prospect, continues to thrive down under enjoying his first southern summer.
Yenhab (a northern hemisphere 3yo) arrived safely at the Flemington stables of SV Brown in late December after being purchased at the Tattersalls Horses in Training sale held at Newmarket in the UK in late October 2014
Yenhaab has raced just 9 times for 2 wins and 3 placings. The wins came at distances of 1600m and 2000m on good to firm ground. His form ties in with several well performed UK gallopers including 2014 Cox Plate hero Adelaide.
Trainer Stephen Brown was in the UK for the sale and personally inspected many lots before settling on the lightly raced son of Cape Cross.
“Yenhaab travelled across well and had no issues at all with the flight or quarantine. He had a few weeks in the stable to acclimatize initially, then we’ve gelded him and given him a short break which was always our plan”, Brown advised.
“He’s a very athletic horse with great feet, and I’m sure he’ll progress through his grades over here quickly once we get him fit to race.”
“He had a long first preparation in the UK with William Haggis and has really enjoyed some time off.”
One share remains available in Yenhaab, and owners are invited to get in quick and contact SV Brown Racing for further details if they want to be involved in this exciting prospect.
